Why we build this
The short version: good execution should not depend on how many terminals you can watch at once.
Serious traders end up fighting their tools. Strategies live in spreadsheets, the same order gets punched into three terminals, and “did that actually work?” is answered by memory rather than data. Meanwhile the automation that exists is either locked behind a coding requirement or bundled with someone else's trade calls.
We think the useful split is different: you decide what to trade, and software handles the mechanical parts — building the structure, testing it against history, and repeating your execution faithfully across accounts. That is the whole product, and we would rather do that narrow thing well than sell signals.
What we build
Four pieces, meant to be used together.
Mirror Trading
Trade once in a master account and mirror every fill onto your other connected accounts — including across different brokers. Sizing is per account, and any account can be paused instantly.
Visual strategy builder
Compose multi-leg options and equity strategies through an interface instead of code, with entry and exit rules expressed in plain terms.
Backtesting on real data
Test a strategy against historical market data before any money is involved, so you can see how it would have behaved rather than guessing.
Live deployment through your broker
Run a strategy live against your own broker account over their official API. Orders are placed by your broker; we never touch your funds.
How we operate
Four commitments that shape what we will and will not ship.
- Your money stays with your broker
- TradeCraft is not a broker, exchange, or portfolio manager. Funds and positions live in your own broker account. We place orders on your behalf through the credentials you connect, and nothing else.
- Broker-agnostic by design
- Nothing in the platform is hard-wired to one broker. Zerodha, Dhan, and Angel One are supported today, and adding another does not change how any existing feature works for you.
- No trading advice
- We build tools, not tips. There are no recommendations, signals, or managed portfolios here — every trading decision stays yours, and the risks are yours too.
- Plain about the risks
- Automation and mirroring can fail in ways manual trading cannot: latency, slippage, rejected orders, expired broker tokens. We document these openly rather than bury them.
